LMS Expert JD: (Freelancer) We are seeking a highly skilled Learning Management System (LMS) Expert with experience in the educational technology (EdTech) sector to join our team. The LMS Expert will play a crucial role in the implementation, customization, and optimization of our Learning Management System to enhance the delivery of educational content and improve the overall learning experience for our students. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, coupled with a deep understanding of pedagogy and instructional design principles. Responsibilities: · Lead the implementation of the Learning Management System, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives. · Customize the LMS platform to meet the specific needs and requirements of our educational programs and courses. · Collaborate with instructional designers and content creators to upload, organize, and manage educational content within the LMS. · Optimize the structure and navigation of the LMS to facilitate easy access to learning materials and resources. · Provide technical support and guidance to faculty, students, and administrative staff using the LMS. · Develop training materials and resources to onboard new users and facilitate ongoing professional development. · Conduct training sessions and workshops to empower users to effectively utilize the LMS features and functionalities. · Integrate the LMS with other educational technologies and systems, such as video conferencing tools, assessment platforms, and student information systems. · Generate reports and analytics dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to learner engagement, course completion rates, and assessment results. Qualifications: · Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, Computer Science, or a related field. · Proven experience as an LMS Administrator or LMS Specialist, with at least 4+ years of experience in EdTech. · In-depth knowledge of Learning Management Systems, such as Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard, or similar platforms. · Strong understanding of instructional design principles, e-learning pedagogy, and adult learning theories. · Proficiency in LMS customization, configuration, and administration.
