INDIVIDUAL TASKS AND UPDATES 10/31/2023 *** PLEASE NOTE TO THE FREELANCER WHO I AWARD THIS PROJECT: Upon completion of this project and before release of milestone, I will require that you provide me the folder and file names that are created and/or editing to make these changes, so that we are aware of where to make a modification if needed. For example: public_html/themes/my_theme/layout/[login to view URL] (or wherever is the file) - #1 Please Make Sure that on the Registration Page that we did, that a person CAN NOT bypass this page of membership levels, without selecting a membership type (minimum $3 Verified User) because right now they are and so they’re still getting in on a free option. You might have to disable the Menu at top, not sure, but please make sure there is no way to bypass this page. This is what I was expecting to do when we had you do this page originally. Thanks. - #2 #2 continued - Ok, on the right sidebar you will see recent activity. But there are only 4 or 5. So what we would like to do is add the words View All and then a user would click and go to a new page that you would create which will list a lot more recent activity such as past 90 days or so? Or for history. If you just have a script that pulls from a database all of the activity from back to the beginning would that cost me more (I don’t think so, right) There would have to be pagination at the bottom of each page. If it gets to be too expensive I don’t want to do that, just do past 6 months, etc. or whatever is more normal (60 days), basically we just want to show more recent activity than 4 items on the front, ok? #3 – VIEW ALL LINKS Again, as in #2, I would like to have a View All link at the bottom of the box, that will take the user to all of the Pages and All of the Groups. a) For “Pages You May Like” please insert View All and link to: [login to view URL] b) For “Suggested Groups”, please add View All and link to: [login to view URL] #4 Left Sidebar On All Other INNER PAGES - Last year when we had you widen the left sidebar, we were wanting the left sidebar on ALL Pages to be widened, not just the Home Page. The home page looks good, but we need ALL PAGES to be that wide. Right now, when a user goes from the Home page to any other page with a left sidebar (Groups, Pages, Events) the left sidebar is not very wide and we need to widen that so it is exactly like the Home Page. #5 REPLACE PATRIOT TV VIDEOS ON LEFT SIDEBAR WITH POPULAR POSTS WITH THIS POPULAR POSTS EXAMPLE (5 POSTS) Let’s go with the 5 most popular posts. #6 COMMENTS BOX PLEASE SHOW ICONS ALWAYS NOT SHOWING ICONS ^^^^ Please make the Comment box show the icons indicating that a person can add a photo, video, emoji, etc. – (Right now, as it is, a person has to put their cursor or mouse in the comment box before it pops open and shows the icon options. I would like those to always show. (Also, is there a better icon for the word “Gif” The current one looks so boring and small, blah. I would like to find something a little better, maybe there is nothing?)
