I am looking for a skilled WordPress designer to create a website for blogging purposes. The ideal candidate should have experience in responsive design and be able to create a visually appealing and user-friendly website. The project does not have an existing website design or logo, so the designer will have the creative freedom to create a unique and customized design. I am happy to purchase a theme, but would need you to suggest which would be the best option. The site is going to be mainly text content with minimal images, so a really nice reading experience would be good. I have my own web hosting, and can set up my own caching and optimization, so please do not install any caching plugins. While I am on the topic of plugins, I want to keep this site very small and fast, so I want absolutely the minimum plugins installed please. The site should include an About static front page, a page for Blog posts, and a contact form. It should also have a tag cloud somewhere either in a sidebar or in the footer, so people can easily jump to posts tagged with a particular topic. For the design I want something dark, minimal, edgy, gritty, something that would be appropriate for a nightclub DJ or gamer site, while being minimal on the graphics. The main thing here is minimal and fast while still looking awesome. The designer should be able to integrate social media platforms and optimize the website for SEO purposes. If you want to build it on my hosting that is fine, or if you want to give me a backup when you're finished tha'ts ok too, and if you want to build it using Bedrock in a Github repo that's awesome, I can work with what ever workflow is best for you.
