I have built a wordpress site a while ago, which I recently made some adjustments to. Foolishly I edited the [login to view URL] directly in the wordpress editor and caused a major problem after saving the changes. I can no longer access the admin and now when I try to visit the site ([login to view URL]) I get the following error message:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_template_directory() in /home/chaps/public_html/wp-includes/[login to view URL] on line 3
I need to get the site functioning again ASAP. I have tried restoring to the original [login to view URL] via FTP with no results.
I am wondering if this is something to do with WP Super Cache saving the corrupted data?
I need someone who is skilled in PHP, MySQL and Wordpress to sort this problem out. Please help
