Having spent 25+ years in sales for Global IT companies I have seen a lot of "attempts" to market small business to enterprise. To have any chance at success, would need to know what the product(s) are, target market, sales team in place, go to market strategy, i.e. direct or via distribution. Is this a product a game changer as in new or new differentiators vs competition or simply a "me-too" product. Sales figures past, present and projected would be beneficial. Sales team, leadership team, conservative or willing to take risks. Lot of questions to be answered or at least more than just coming up with creative ways to excite people about the X-factor of said product. I have seen great ideas die due to poor implementation. I have seen bad ideas succeed because of leadership asking for and pushing sales teams to the point of conducting themselves in unethical ways. Whatever it is you need, I can do it. Technical buyers and financial buyers smell and know BS far too easily these days. Whatever I do would be honest, up front, and suggest scenarios where potential buyers have been burned by slick sales and marketing that had no real product or support to back up their claims. Which ever way you go, don't be that company. Do what you say you will, do it well, and put the customer first. Always. Oh yeah, have a good product too. Thanks for the consideration.
