332236 US Virtual Assistant/Publicist

I am looking for a USA-based Publicist/Virtual Assistant to help me launch my first book to US-media. Your expertise in social media and internet marketing will be a BIG PLUS. My budget is limited so I do not want to hire a big-gun PR – but someone who I can work with having myself being a publicist for book authors – but not in the USA. I live in the UK. I have written a book in the self-help genre. It is aimed mainly at a target market of women 40+ to help them to get unstuck and attract the life they love. My PRIMARY aim is the US market. The book is being self-published in US and will be available online through Amazon and Barnes & Noble (not in bookstores at this stage). My time scale for the “official launch” is August 2009. These are the tasks below: a)Receive 10 books from publisher in US, postage paid, b)Write a press release promoting me and the book (for my review before issue) c)Compile a list of relevant media (your expertise is needed in compilation of this list)and from this, short-list the TOP 10 (including Oprah). d) Send the books + Press Release to the TOP TEN. Note: I am talking of US-wide media who are prepared to contact me in the UK to interview me via telephone, skype or internet. e)Follow up all media contacts (ie personal contact is important) f)Submit to me a brief status summary weekly. The aim of employing you as my publicist/VA is to drive traffic to my website in order to ensure the success of both the book and in addition my e-coaching program. Thanks, Caryl
