Hello Prospective Freelancers, We're a fast-growing technology firm, and we're looking to onboard a professional and experienced freelancer to help us build a software test framework for our new Flutter applications. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who has a deep understanding of and hands-on experience with JavaScript, Appium, and Cucumber. The scope of the project will be to develop a robust, scalable and efficient test framework and to write an initial set of approximately 10 tests for our Flutter applications. The ideal freelancer for this role should be well-versed in modern software testing methodologies and automation tools, and comfortable working on applications built with Flutter. Further, we are looking for someone who is capable of providing detailed explanations and code walkthroughs to our on-site test engineer. It is essential that the test framework and scripts are not only effective but also understandable and maintainable. Key Responsibilities: Develop a comprehensive software test framework using JavaScript, Appium, and Cucumber. Write approximately 10 initial tests for our Flutter applications. Explain and walkthrough the codebase to our on-site test engineer. Provide periodic progress updates and be open to feedback and adjustments. Requirements: Proven experience with JavaScript, Appium, Cucumber, and preferably, Flutter. Tests should be run on Browserstack Demonstrated understanding of modern software testing methodologies and tools. Excellent communication skills to effectively explain complex technical concepts. Portfolio showcasing previous work related to software testing and framework development. References or testimonials from previous clients or employers.
