Hi, I am an aeronautical engineer and designer, I have previously worked on redesigning a helmet mounted display for aviation use. Interesting but complex work, Initial prototypes we did no concentrate on aesthetics but as the product developed we had to position and fit the electronics into a compact and sturdy packing. Ergonomics was of prime importance since the pilot or the gunner had to wear it for a long time without feeling discomfort. I have worked on many such human interface and wearable devices but specific for aviation use, pilot stat monitors ( hear rate etc) etc. is this a VR display system ? are you using full or partial overlap ? please let me know more details about the system before, feel free to contact me anytime.
