This VB NET application to be developed in VS2010 renames some file located in a folder. Firstly reads a text file containing the old and new filenames for the files to be renamed, then executes the renaming. The user interface contains one field for the source path (containing both the files and the text document) and another the name of the text document (default = [login to view URL]), an start button and a multiline read-only text box for the error messages. The description file contains a row with the file name, followed by a line with the text to be appended, after a space, to the current file name. The source file can have blank lines, to skip. 2. The filename extension is ignored, the first file matching the source specification will be renamed So if the folder contains a file [login to view URL] and [login to view URL], only one of them will be processed. The attachment contains some file and a description text.

I need to increase my reputation, so as my first job, I will do the best. I have a few doubts: I usually works on VS2013 with C#, but I can do it in VS2010 with VB.NET if it is needed. It is a requirement to be development like you'd written on the description or can be developed in C# with VS2013? If in the list of filenames to rename, the programs found a file but in the inmediate next line is a blank line, should search the next line or should ignore the renaming? Thanks
