Dear, We need a macro script to Update, rebuild and maintain our CAD assemblies in our PDM Vault. The script will be run from SW PDM and through workflow The macro language is preffered in VBA but C is accepted The Macro scope is highlighted bellow, i will provide detailled requirement after our first contact. Best Regards, Macro Scope : This macro is mainly here to update, rebuild and make sure all our components settings and configuration are correct, from graphical properties, values of Custom properties, sheet template update, Unit and digit choice etc. Bellow are a list of actions to be performed with some details and screenshots of what we need. 1. **Rebuild and Configuration Management:* - **Automatic Rebuild for every configurations:** Rebuilds the model - **Set Display to ISO View:** Sets the model view to ISO. - **Center Model on Screen:** Centers the model in the current viewport. -Last configuration active should be Default. 2. **Graphics Properties Adjustment: - Adjust Graphics Quality Always set to Coarse but consider files with special Custom Properties -For assemblies, set to apply on Children Parts 2.1Graphic display For all : Hide the following : Sketches Axis Origin Planes Planes Origins Coordinate Systems Annotation 3. Unit and Precision Configuration: - For all, Set Units to mm and Kg: Configures units to be using mm and KG for all ( set the precision digit to .01 for all, tested with material and weight values) 4. Drawing Configuration Adjustments: If drawing : - Modify Drawing Document Settings (e.g., View Title Font Size), list to be provided - Adjust Digit Zero Settings:** Configures how zeros are displayed in dimensions and tolerances. 6. Display state and configurations -For assemblies, update the display states across configuration by hiddin envelopes components in the tree (except for "2D" configuration) 7. Material and Weight Properties Depending on file Type and Custom Properties, apply Material correction ( fill in the SW-material, Mass, or fill in manual values, etc) 9. Lock Feature Tree Lock Feature Tree bar for specific files ( idenitifed with Custom Properties) [login to view URL] cleanup List of Custom properties to be deleted from all configuration and @ properties
