Massive redesign of our website starts with have all pages converted to CSS
If you know oscommerce you know this isn’t difficult as there are far fewer pages that need altering than appears at first glance, but it is a tedious job.
Winner will have previous experience converting table format website to CSS (preferably oscommerce).
This involves rewriting code for approximately
1 template page (the main layout)
60 simple content pages – the .tpl pages (will be contained within one div tag in new css)
30 very simple modules (also in a div tag)
10 even simpler boxes
Probably a few other pages I am forgetting
I will have an exact number and examples listed before this bidding ends
We have added few pages of our own but this is more than made up for by the fact that we have removed 20-40% of oscommerce pages so this is far quicker than a standard conversion of an oscommerce site to css
The project needs to be ready for inspection (that is completed) 10 days after winning bid (so you’ll have to get working quickly).. and required fixes should be done 1 week after that (some pages will probably not display correctly and need to be reworked or I may miss a page that needs to be done)
Requirements:
We have full width pages so you need to know how to make css work for that. Clean (cross browser compatible as possible without hacks) skins are desired.
Must display perfectly in IE 6 and 7, all firefox versions, and most safari versions.
Should display acceptably in opera, netscape, mozilla, and camino
We are doing massive website changes, and will have many projects. We prefer the winner of this project have multiple skills (probably a team of many experts) so they can have a head up on our other projects.
If you can do some redesign of the layout and make the fonts/colors more consistent we will pay more (this is a cleanup job from some patchwork stuff that we will have to do otherwise). We would like the css to be as minimal as possible (both for file size and to promote visual consistancy) of course the coding should be simple and concise for our later revising.
