I have had my ecommerce site upgraded from Mambo 4.5.2 to Joomla 1.5.22/Virtuemart 1.1.5. All of the old user data was transferred/copied to the new database and I can see it in the database, the problem I have is that anyone who registered to my old site, before the database was moved cannot log in to the new site as a shopper/registered user, they fill in the log in form and the page just refreshes. I can install with legacy on the site but form variables are not being passed to the 2 other pages.
