This project is to redevelop a Powershell script aimed at efficiency and speed. The main reason behind this is that the current script has major memory leaks, crashes and does not support data over 1000 entries. Also the original script is far too complex and was poorly designed and implemented. We are using Powershell 5.1 as part of Windows 10 and 11 so that everyone who has access to a computer can use our application without the need to compile it or understand programming concepts. I have 2 relatively small Excel files that seem to freeze and eat up 99% of my 16G of memory maybe once an hour.
