Ambulance service in Hospitals

An ambulance is a vehicle to provide services to transport sick, injured, and emergency patient for immediate medical service. It is a part of the Inpatient care service of the hospital. Ambulance for every need. In many hospitals, Ambulance services are provided round the clock and the fleet is maintained and operated 24X7 in 3 shifts. For example Morning (7 AM to 3 PM), Afternoon (3 to 11 PM), and Night (11 PM to 7 AM). The Hospital can maintain its own fleet of ambulance or engage any outside agency for ambulance service. Ambulance service is mostly called for in times of emergency involving human life-threatening situations. So speedy service delivery is essentially a crucial criterion in the ambulatory situation. Usually, the request for ambulance service is received from an outsider or for a requirement raised by the doctor for shifting the patient outside. The following information is collected and stored in the system to provide ambulance service: a) Call receives date and time (sometimes the request is channelized through IVR or Chabot system) b) Name and contact number of the caller c) Location details where the ambulance service is required to be sent (geographical coordinates or detailed address of the place of event .e.g. it could be a residential place or the road) d) Type of emergency e) Number of people involved f) Call response (Serviced or declined or forwarded) g) Reasons for call response h) If serviced the time ambulance pressed into service or time respondent (to calculate response time) i) Time the service reached the spot Analytical solutions i.
