I have a desktop configuration utility that reads from an XML template and allows a user to change settings for my application based on available settings in the XML file. Settings are read from and stored in a .ini file. I would like a similar .net 3.5 asp.net version of this .net desktop application. It can be written in c# but it needs to be convertible to a vb.net project. So please don't use any c# specific features not available in vb.net. JavaScript can be minimal, it is not a strict requirement but use if necessary. A specific design is also not a requirement just don't hardcode any CSS. The new application should be able to process all the setting types in the attached XML. No database work is required. You shouldn't need the source code of the existing desktop application but I am a developer myself and can assist. I attach the current executable, an XML and ini file.

I have downloaded the attached stuff. I just executed "[login to view URL]" . It looks to read stuff from files located in Config folder,but just to clarify whether it performs any other task other than settings. If it is just setting , I can rewrite the complete stuff in ASP.net (Vb.net 3.5). I will do the basic design with minimal or no javascript . Css will be in external file so it can be changed easily.
