VPN, remote desktop and TWAIN

the project has to carry out the following. 1) the user opens the application 2) it asks for login information 3) the program establishes a VPN connection to a windows 2003 server 4) after the VPN connection is established the user has 2 options. 5) button one opens a remote desktop connection with the hard coded settings, on exiting from the remote desktop, returns to step 4. 6) button 2 opens up a module which displays the list of doccument scanners installed on the system. the user simply sellects the scanner, presses the scan button, the document is scanned, previewed, then uploaded to an FTP server. on exiting the application to return back to seto 4. following to be kept into considerations. 1) the application is to be compatible with windows 98, ME, XP, 2000 and 2003. we prefer single application for all versions. 2) no traceces of login information/scaned doccuments to be cached onto the users PC. 3) the intended users are not advanced pc users, the software to be made as simple as possible. 4) complete source code of this project to be provided. 5) everything : exe, config, runtimes : must be in a single .exe file. ## Deliverables 1) Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done. 2) Deliverables must be in ready-to-run condition, as follows (depending on the nature of the deliverables): a) For web sites or other server-side deliverables intended to only ever exist in one place in the Buyer's environment--Deliverables must be installed by the Seller in ready-to-run condition in the Buyer's environment. b) For all others including desktop software or software the buyer intends to distribute: A software installation package that will install the software in ready-to-run condition on the platform(s) specified in this bid request. 3) All deliverables will be considered "work made for hire" under U.S. Copyright law. Buyer will receive exclusive and complete copyrights to all work purchased.
