Most of what you're asking requires API keys to access, like CBOE data, Goggle Data, etc. Would you be providing those? If not, it's possible to just rely on the developer keys if you're planning to use the app moderately. Also, you mention Google, Yahoo, CBOE "and others." That's vague and unrealistic. I can program whatever api interfaces you want, but I need a list of the ones you want to access, it can't just be open ended like that, each one is unique code wise. Dear Simon, I have experienced in programming C# application for generating financial report and managing user in financial software. The framework that I used is MVC and MVP framework. I believed that by using MVC framework, you can move your application to Web-based at ease. Regarding the Stock Options Analysis, I have learned Finance Engineering in the university. I have completed the programme which help investor to choose the deal (in the first assignment) and help the bank to identify the value of the deal (in the second assignment). In the second assignment, it's obvious that I have to choose BS formula as the assumption of stock process and use Monte-Carlo method to implement the formula. Moreover, the parameter for BS function in the second assignment (muy, sigma, roh,...) is chosen by using GARCH model and/or analyzing historical data.
