I'm looking for a talented MongoDB and Java developer to join me on a project to re-build a stock market web application for one of my clients. The application stores historical stock market data, and allows the user to paper trade (ie, pretend trade) against that data. I'll be re-building the front-end code (built with Adobe Flex), and I'm looking for an extremely talented developer to join me and manage the server-side code. All the server code is written in Java, and currently they're storing the historical stock data as flat files and serving those files directly to the Flex Client.... and it is SLOW!!!! Our task is to re-work things and make it lightning fast. We think MongoDB is the solution we need for this, but we're also open to suggestions. If you're smart, driven to write stellar code, and love to collaborate towards success, then you're the guy I'm looking for.
