Electronic Prescriptions Eprescriptions PHARMACY HL7 EXCHANGES AND HIE TELEPRESCRIPTIONS

Our EMR project is almost completed but missing portion is Eprescription method. We are NOT going to use Surescripts, etc. We are going to develop a similar Technology that will enable our EMR to do just that independently using APIs, etc. So if you are bidding please keep this in mind. We are also NOT using the any agreements with Surescripts. I have a broad Pharmacy list, which includes addresses, etc. But not their API information. Our EMR Is web-based wherein the MD can input the prescription using a Prescription creation tool, thereafter it will have to be electronically be pushed via an XML HL7 type or FHIR method to a central database within the Pharmacy Health Information Exchange to be routed in an encrypted form to a Pharmacy selected. The sent messages will be in XML or other suitable format that is HIPAA compliant, the EMR would be also capable of receiving the Rx refill requests from that same pharmacy in the future. The web client/database will once receiving an XML message from the Pharmacy for a refill request, he may acknowledge of hit a Rx approval for a quick Rx resend and approval (within the EMR). This will resend the message approving the Rx refill. So the Eprescribing tool will do both new and refill Rxs and can receive and send. The database will store medication history of the patients and also use an api to check the prescribing medications against a third party medication database to for interactions. Also may use other APIs for price checking. Programmer Requirements: Understands Rxnorm API, for Drug databases Able to communicate in English Skilled in ASP.NET, ASP.NET MVC, C#, JQJERY, JSON, PRESCRIPTION CREATION PROTOCOL, PHARMACY EXCHANGES, ANDROID, IOS APPLE and WINDOWS Mobile apps HTML5 Multi-touch controls. Quest Diagnostics HL7 integration (optional requirement) currently using care360, so it is not urgent. Labcorp HL7 integration (optional requirement) currently using Beacon Drug to Drug Interaction databases and familiar with protocol. Currently have Excel based DDI database.
